After realizing that Toronto’s polyamorous groups lacked diversity, despite Toronto being the most diverse city in the world, Millie founded the Toronto Non-Monogamous BIPOC group (TNB) in 2017 to provide a safe space for BIPOC polyamorous people. TNB quickly became the world’s biggest polyamory facebook page for BIPOC folx. Since then, Millie organized social events and workshops to help BIPOC folx navigate non-monogamy.

After one of TNB's most popular workshops on decolonial love, Millie started laying the foundations to what has now become Decolonizing Love. In November 2021, Millie and Nick formed Decolonizing Love as a social enterprise that advocates for polyamory from a critical theory lens, and their efforts took off fast. Their approach is radical in that it explores the intersection of polyamory with decolonization, desirability politics, and toxic masculinity. Through their work, they aim to make polyamory more accessible and inclusive for all, and to provide holistic support for individuals navigating polyamorous relationships.
