Decolonizing Love events aim to create respectful, understanding and kind spaces where people feel able to share their non-monogamy journey without fear of reprisal or humiliation.
Our events are inclusive. Here we celebrate and desire difference.
We want to create a community that recognises and challenges the oppression & exploitation that some of us are harmed by and some of us benefit from as such we have high expectations of how we behave towards each other in our social spaces.
Here we're continuously unpacking and unlearning how colonization has indoctrinated us.
We centre the most marginalized. As such we ask people to practise self-awareness so they're free from unconscious micro-aggressions. Think about how your words, opinions and feelings are influenced and who they might exclude or harm.

This is an opportunity to meet new people. Because we are survivor centered, everyone must act consensually: before you touch anyone or discuss sensitive topics ask if they are comfortable with that. Don't assume your physical & emotional boundaries are the same as other people's.
No photos or videos permitted as not everyone can safely be out as non-monogamous.
As the host, I am the only person who may occasionally take photos or short videos for promotional use. Before capturing any content, I will clearly announce it so everyone has the opportunity to opt out. If you prefer not to be photographed or filmed, you can step aside or let me know directly — no explanation needed. Your preference will be respected fully and without question.
Consent is ongoing, and your comfort matters more than any promotional material.
